As the Blog Editor and Copywriter, you’ll help determine blog strategy while writing compelling, fun, and conversion oriented content. You’ll help shape the new voice and tone of the brand and be the go-to person for all headlines and website copy. You’ll also write and edit emails, product copy, guides, and any other words our customers see!
Partner with marketing team to define the blog strategy, themes and stories necessary to increase traffic, readership and conversion.
Own the content calendar and ensure the story being told is clear, purposeful, and compelling.
Define and manage standards for the Blog channel, ensure that content (visuals and copy) meets editorial standards. Comfortable stepping in or pushing back when content does not meet the level of quality expected.
Capture key strategic insights from usage data and use it to fine tune blog strategy.
Write high converting headlines, copy, emails, and other content marketing collateral.
5+ years of experience as an editor and/or copywriter.
You’ve successfully managed and grown blogs before, bonus points for SAAS experience.
A skilled writer with a proven track record of writing content for both small business and enterprise audiences.
You’re a content marketing pro.
Ability to clearly articulate a strategy, both written and verbal, with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
You’re a great storyteller, a sense of fun and personality shines through in your writing
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time within a fast-paced environment.
